• i think you should have categories for comments in which to go under. like 1 for bugs and 1 for game suggestions and 1 for site suggestions etc.

• Your own posts should be a different color, when new posts are added to threads they should bump up to the top of the forum (Some forum's don't do this) and individual and separate forums should be used as opposed to a tag like category system (Think PhpBB homepage over BBpress)

• It should have a clear layout so it's easy to browse through. I also like ranks like 1-10 post is newbie 20-100 is (...) 100-200 (...) etc, but that not neccesary, just for fun. Ofcourse signatures and avatars. Just some basic forum ideas really. It should have a good search feature aswell in case you lost a post, favoriting topics aswell maybe.

• I think its better to draw the avatar instead of the signature, imho it can be really annoying if you got colourful images between the posts...but otherwise i find the painting is a great idea :)one suggest i have: maybe you could set up a mini-chat or shout box something like that, for the senseless stuff that have to be told,but not to be saved ;)

• Mmm...you could also make a "useless subjects" category for threads,just to talk about every kind of stuff.And a presentation thread too,so everybody can introduce themselves and tell where they're from,hobbys,etc...

• as someone else told, have diffrent types of "forums" one for bugs, one for games, and a few more.lets look into what bugs could be!bugs= game bugs, site bugs, forum bugs, other bugs.and what games could be: High speed chase, thermastorm, comatose, attak, a birds journey, pirates of JTS, catch of the day, banana dash (and so on)lets look into the game forum for: High speed chase:this is a place people can make their own threads, but there could also be "offisical threads" made by you.HSC-generalHSC-ideasHSC-medalsofficial threads above... unofficial (player made) threads belov...high speed chase 2 better or boring?top speed?funny trick!see? there are alot of possebilities!i odnt like that "rate posts" ability (but thats just me...) but mayby a "rate poll" system to show the best rated polls, and not just the stupid spam-spam ones....so i mean that you should be able to make your own threads somewhere...=Dgood luck...and lets hope this post is too long...meh..

• hmm i think that would be oversized, 4 bug categories, 3 for every game and so on...what the hack should i do with 40-50 categories with 1 post in each of them?it should be very compact for the beginning, an then the time will show witch categories are really needed :)and dravidude: imo you're will be able to create your own threads because otherwise it don't would be a forum ;o

• lyxor i did not say 50 bug threads for each game...there are 4 bug threads: site bugs, game bugs, forum bugs and other bugs (the two last ones are not realy needed) if you press "game bugs" one topic of each game pops up...not 50...hmm...mayby you got part of my post wrong? after i tell about the bug forum, everything else is about the "game" forum...
