Alan Wake X10 Trailer

  • Looks amazing. Shame it's been canned on the PC, anyway I hope Rockstar treat Max Payne 3 well, I've already been put off by the main character. It's less film noir and more balls-out action blocknuster by the looks of it. Trust Rockstar to go over the top.

  • Aw man, I got the PS3 instead! Anyways, this is like the battle between the XBOX 360 and the PS3. Quantic Dream is releasing Heavy Rain soon and that will be awesome. It is exclusive to the PS3. And Remedy is releasing Alan Wake, exclusive to the XBOX 360! What is your decision?

  • Meh Heavy rain isnt as good as it seemed it would be. Max payne 3 will be nothing like it's predecessors, im personally looking forward to L.A. Noir witch is also by Rockstar

  • Luckily, we have both PS3 and XBOX. We need to be impartial...I'm looking forward to anything Rockstar make, to me they're the ultimate developers. Just look at what they've achieved!Plus, it was started by two brothers — Dan and Sam Houser. Legends!I'm looking forward to The Agent, whatever it is and Red Dead Redemption.

  • Yeah, I really really loved GTAIV, I can't wait for APB though, which is being made by one of the original creators of GTA I think.

  • APB is being made by the guys that made Crackdown (Realtime Worlds).

  • L.A. Noire, Heavy Rain, and Alan Wake, seem like three games with a similar concept. L.A. Noire is a crime-solving action game, which sounds pretty cool (they're using this technology where they can take a person's facial animation and put it in-game) and you're tasked with finding evidence and interrogating suspects. I was reading Game Informer, and it also mentioned some shooting scenes. I think it's for both systems. Heavy Rain is a Ps3 exclusive that's also about crime-solving (The Origami Killer) but from a more personal level, and it's more like an interactive drama. Alan Wake's story is based on T.V. using words like To Be Continued... and is an action-adventure game more like anything else.

  • Yeah youre right, all games are interesting to me. Even though they do share similarities in theme, they do all seem unique. Got Heavy Rain ordered and been waiting years for Alan to finally come into the light.
